Summary of Application Experience
Not a traditional applicant... Earned my BA (in Music) from Rice in 2009; did 2 years of post-bac classes at the University of Houston-Downtown to beef up my science cred. ~3.5 years of research experience (2 years part-time while at UHD, then 1 year in a post-bac research program, and now working as a research tech) and 2 publications. 2 years of clinical observing/shadowing, though it was back in high school. Worked all through college/post-bac, so unfortunately I'm really light on other ECs and my last significant community service experience was in junior high.
Summary of Experience:
Current status: "MSTP and MD Application Held for Later Review" --> heart sinking. I really, REALLY hope that's not a nice way to say "waitlisted" because Pritzker was a top choice... :(
Summary of Experience:
Current status: Under review... but interview invites were supposed to go out in early November, so I have a bad feeling about this... :(
Summary of Experience:
Status: File not complete?? - it's after the 15th! Their instructions say they will mark you complete as long as 3 letters are in by 11/15, and all I was missing was letter #4. *biting nails*
Summary of Experience:
Current status: "Your application is complete and has been reviewed by the committee. We will let you know something as soon as we are able."
