Summary of Application Experience
Just a basic pre-med since college who took a year off before applying. Relatively decent combination of stats, with good EC's, mainly non-medical, but some medical. Some research, shadowing as well. Applied very broadly to both MD and a few DO Schools. I feel very privileged to have had a strong cycle; I could not have done it without the support of both family and friends!!!
My best two pieces of advice for those applying to medical school is 1. Apply early and 2. Apply broadly
