Summary of Experience:
So Galveston was is floating mid-rank for me only because the school still looks not up to date, and it is so hot there it is ridiculous. However, I loved the faculty and the students there, and I love the fact that they only want students to be in classes half days every week.
Summary of Experience:
TMC is amazing...and huge...and AMAZING!! Got to see open heart surgery at St. Lukes. Got to see Life Flight land and almost blow me over. Got to be in the presence of MD Anderson and two great schools. It was a great experience.
Summary of Experience:
TCOM was my first interview and it was a great way to start off the interviewing season. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly, and one of my interviewers went on for an hour telling stories. Only downside I can think of was there wasn't much in the way of simulation technology other than a few dummies, but that is no big deal.
Summary of Experience:
Got the opportunity to interview at the Bryan campus and I really cannot say enough great things about the dean of the school. He is extremely helpful and enthusiastic about every single person being there. There couldn't have been a more laid back atmosphere, and I loved the structure of the interview day. My only complaint it that they walked us back and forth between interviews, which didn't allow for us to go see classes or interact with students who were not on the panel.
Summary of Experience:
So this was my second interview and I did not have a very exciting experience here. At the time I interviewed the dean seemed excited about nothing but the curriculum. Our tour seemed rushed, and I didn't feel that my first interview started off very well; however, it ended on a high note and the second interview was fantastic.
Summary of Experience:
Okay, so in all honesty I was not thrilled about this interview, but they quickly changed my mind whenever I arrived. The entire faculty is wonderful and very nice. The students would stop and shoot the breeze with us, even though they needed to get to class or study. In fact, everyone there was great to talk to, except our tour guides who couldn't wait to ditch us. I really enjoyed this school, and it has surpassed my expectations in many ways.
