Personal Statement: Had 3 jobs during schooling and went through rough family issues (Ive been told I have exceptional essays) Quadri-lingual: English, French, etc. Undergrad: Started scholarship fund and Foreign Language studies minor, research with poster presentation Grad School: Better grades, worked during school, paper in process of publication Current: Full-time job as R&D scientist, pioneered volunteer effort translating for national health authorities and rare blood disorder patients; Member of first-response emergency team in my town.

Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Secondary received 7/26; requires OOS applicants to sign contract to practice in Ohio which is a significant comittment this early in the game. Will not be completing secondary.

Substitution for Western Michigan University SOM.Complete since June and waited for a secondary... just felt like there was a lack of respect for my time and investment in this cycle, which speaks volumes about the school. Wishin all the best to their first batch of matriculants :)

REALLY surprised about this rejection since I interviewed with them last cycle and I did everything they recommended to improve my application... Shows how dynamic each cycle year is! C'est la vie!

Apparently, this school does not do an in-person interview...?! Received a call from one of the Deans offering me a conditional acceptance if I completed their online MPH in addition to the MS I already hold. Another two years and $30k? I had to decline...

Enjoyed my time here and felt the love, but staying close to home is priority. I know my spot will go to someone well-qualified and deserving :)
