"Abysmal" undergraduate GPA with significantly downward trend. Decided to pursue medical career very late (second semester of senior year); took two years "off" to work full time in a neuroscience lab - started graduate school two years after college graduation. 3.85 graduate GPA. Ready to take on a medical curriculum. Fingers are crossed. Will provide details on extracurriculars later on in the app cycle.
