Summary of Application Experience
So far I have found that taking some time off after undergrad to do something that is A) relevant and B) interesting has really helped me throughout the application cycle. I never had to stretch my imagination to find something to write about, and my interviewers have all seemed very interested in my experiences.
Summary of Experience:
Loved the mission of the school, but didn't really seem to affect the students in any real way. Very intense and competitive atmosphere. I couldn't really see myself here.
Summary of Experience:
Very surprised by how much I loved this school. Tremendous clinical experience, wonderful faculty, and one of the best student tours I've been on. The school jumped into my top 5.
Summary of Experience:
First interview, so I didn't really know what to look for. Students seem nice, curriculum is fine. Good options for Public Health and policy research. Overall, the price may be too much for what you're getting.
Summary of Experience:
It was a somewhat hectic interview day, but I did really enjoy this school. Great students, good curriculum, and lots of options for dual degree programs. I also really enjoyed Baltimore. It was unclear if students can attain residency while attending school for tuition purposes--that would make it or break it for me, though.
Summary of Experience:
Didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the interviews and the generalist philosophy that the school takes to the curriculum. Good opportunities for public health research.
