Ouch! That hurt. Didn\'t even pass the secondary screening process!? Oh well, I guess I\'m not going to wear flowers in my hair...
Summary of Experience:
Waitlisted MSTP and was told by director that my application was "ranked favorably"... we'll see what this really means.
Update: 30th April 2013: Even though I keep asking where I am on the waitlist, the MSTP administration is very vague. I will take it as I won't be taken off the waitlist.
Summary of Experience:
Waitlisted. Don't know what date exactly since they say "if you don't here from us, it is not a bad thing since we haven't rejected you yet." Let me do everything I can and wait like always.
Update: 30th April 2013: I am #1 on the waitlist, but the MSTP director told me only once in the past three years a spot opened up before 1st June... I'm guessing I won't be going to Northwestern.
Update: ACCEPTED!!! Going to get my MD and PhD at Northwestern's MSTP! I thought for sure I wasn't going to get in here. But, it looks like I'll be in Chi-town for the next 7-8 years!
