Summary of Application Experience
Have received two interviews so far, and that was before my last MCAT(I took in January) in which I scored a 29. The two interviews came even with my much less previous MCAT. I did a post-bacc program in which I took a year\'s worth of undergraduate upper level science classes and rocked them all. Ended the year with a 4.0 to get my GPAs up. Nice to see the schools took notice of the hard work I have put in before. Wish I would have taken the MCAT sooner and applied to more schools, but oh well, take it when you feel comfortable.
Applied to all of the Texas schools and got nary a peep!
Invited for Interview
Long School of Medicine - University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio
Summary of Experience:
Incredibly laid back interview. The staff and students are so nice. It is not a competitive atmosphere at all. Everyone seems to want to help each other. Long interview day though!
