Quick advice. Apply to A LOT of reach schools!!! I underestimated my competitiveness. I wish I would have included more Top 20 schools like Vandy, Pitt, Chicago, and Baylor.
Summary of Experience:
The location and need to do away rotations far away are big turnoffs for me. Cheap cost of living and excellent financial aid (from what students said) would make this school an excellent choice for others though. And, the outdoor activities are amazing if that is your thing. They have a mountain for skiing!!!
Summary of Experience:
This school is great. Could easily see myself going here for the price. But, the fact that % grades are included in your residency app. is a huge turnoff. I want to go to true P/F school. Happy I have my BU acceptance! : )
Summary of Experience:
Show me some love!!! I really enjoyed this place. Take home tests and the student-run clinic are huge pros for this school. This school could easily compete for my top choice. Also, this school has the BEST location of all the schools where I interviewed. It is right on central park! The location between east Harlem and the Upper East Side also leads to excellent patient diversity.
Summary of Experience:
I was pleasantly surprised by BU. BMC seems like an amazing place to train. Couldn\'t ask for more patient diversity than the major safety net hospital for the uninsured. This is the place for those interested in EM.
