Summary of Application Experience
10/1 I applied to about 22 schools through AMCAS, but with earlier deadlines at some schools like Loyola, I will probably drop about five or six. I average about 4 secondaries a week. It is a big waiting game after you complete secondaries, which really sucks. Maybe my attitude will change soon. In retrospect, I should have submitted my AMCAS about a month earlier.
10/25 FUCKING DEADLINES PISS ME OFF
11/2 Interviews starting to roll in. Three in one week...almost back to a gunner's ego.
12/1 First Acceptance to UW-Mad
12/11 Second Acceptance to MCOW
I am happy that I got into my backups. Now I am waiting for the results of the longshots.
12/27 Waitlisted at Vanderbilt...My interview was really short, like 20 minutes, and Vandy only has one interview. So I kind of saw a waitlist or rejection coming my way. Am I disappointed?...maybe...it would be just nice to know that I got into a school for reasons not due to my state residency.
1/18 Waitlisted at U of Chicago... I really loved this school. Hopefully I will be taken off the waitlist.
