Summary of Experience:
Rejected after LOR request, pre-interview. First rejection, but came after Michigan acceptance, so am not really upset. Just wasn\'t meant to be, Mayo.
Summary of Experience:
I loved Wash U! Facilities there are incredible; I especially liked the fact that you get your own study carrel first and second year. The hospitals were also amazing. Every student was incredibly friendly and many walking by would ask out of the blue how my interviews went and who I had them with. There is a wealth of research opportunities--most students do some form of research during their time there--which I like the sound of. St. Louis might not be the best city ever, but it is eminently livable and cheap and everything you might want on offer.
I never update these experience descriptions until after acceptance, because I don\'t want to get my hopes up.
Summary of Experience:
Woo first interview! So excited to be accepted too!!!! Loved Michigan when I was there, hadn\'t originally considered it a top choice but it\'s definitely up there now. Students all seemed to be extremely happy and friendly, as did the admissions staff! My three interviewers all were very easy to talk to, and seemed almost to have been chosen based on my interests, which certainly gave us a lot to talk about! Wish we could have seen the beautiful new Mott hospital, but I don\'t think it was open yet when I was there. I would be very happy here!
