Enjoyed my visit there -- the student body is nice from what I have seen and the faculty are more than open. The research is very good, but I am still questioning the clinical opportunities a little bit despite it being a level 1 trauma center.

Excellent School -- The connection between students and the faculty is amazing. The pass/fail system is pretty great too, and the facilities and research opportunities are great. My only real issue is that classes are mostly mandatory and are 9-5 most days.

Pittsburgh caught me off guard. I was VERY surprised how much I enjoyed it having had a somewhat less-than-excited feeling of the city. It turns out to be quite a nice city with lots to do (sports, art, music, lots of parks and trails...etc) as long as you can get over the weather. The hills might deter some but I find it somewhat of a positive. The school itself is HUGE within the community and their facilities and funding are top tier. Faculty is extremely open to students looking for any kind of experience (particularly research), and I find the curriculum to be a healthy mix of lecture and PBL. The students seemed really happy to be there, and I seemed to get along quite well with everyone I met, except (unfortunately) the other interviewees who seemed a little withdrawn and nervous to be there. Overall, my definitive top choice. Fingers crossed for a decision.

The people at Brown are incredibly friendly. Absolutely vibrant atmosphere, and the administrative staff are willing to answer questions point blank very openly. The school just got its new facilities which are gorgeous. There is a real emphasis on community, but there seems to be a subtle push toward research to get more competitive with other east coast powerhouses.

First acceptance! Very excited! The school was not bad overall -- not completely sure about detroit at this point, and the OOS pricetag is absolutely absurdly high, but it is nice to know that I will be somewhere next year.

Accepted! Was not at all expecting to be accepted at Boston, but I will take it. Chances are I will be attending unless Pittsburgh comes though before May 15th.
