Summary of Experience:
Withdrew after receiving interview invite. I had already been accepted to UF, which was a better in-state option for me than FSU (just because UF is closer to home, and I loved Shands).
Summary of Experience:
I liked the school, especially the location. However, I didn\'t feel a sense of belonging here, and I especially didn\'t feel like my MMI went well. Also, a lot of the current students who we hung out with on interview day turned me off. They kept talking about \"gunners\"...
Summary of Experience:
I interviewed very early in the season (it was my 2nd interview) and I loved Mayo. Both the students and the administration were amazing! The idea of freezing winters was a little scary for me, but I was willing to deal with it. I was put on hold on Oct 17th, and was eventually rejected.
Summary of Experience:
After my interview, I realized I wouldn\'t be happy living in NYC. I liked the med school (minus the whole NYC thing), but I would not matriculate here because they do not offer merit scholarships. Because I had a full-tuition offer elsewhere, I decided to withdraw from the wait list.
Summary of Experience:
I did not think my interview went well, and overall I did not think that I \"fit in\" here. Also, they said that they do not offer merit scholarships. It would not make sense for me to matriculate here when I have scholarship offers elsewhere.
Summary of Experience:
Will matriculate here! The more I learned about the curriculum and the ways they integrate research and clinical instruction, I felt that CCLCM was the perfect fit for me. For me, once I was accepted at CCLCM, the decision about where to attend was made for me. It is exactly what I was looking for in a med school.
Summary of Experience:
Withdrew. My first acceptance. I liked FIU, but I withdrew after I received another acceptance. I am not comfortable going to a school that is still in the accreditation process.
Summary of Experience:
Withdrew. I love Emory. Seriously. I thought that my interview experience was awesome, and I really liked the current students. Plus, I\'d love to stay in the A for a few more years. After I found out that I was out of the running for their merit scholarship, I realized I could not justify taking out student loans to go here, even though I love it, when I have other options that would be significantly cheaper. BTW, the admissions staff was the best here out of any other school I applied to.
Summary of Experience:
Received 20k merit scholarship. Withdrew. I had an interesting interview day experience (I was half an hour late... oh Miami traffic), but I liked the school. Since my family lives in Miami, I already know what the city and the culture is like (pretty awesome) and had a free place to live. My interview itself went well, and I really liked my interviewer. Once I was accepted and found out that it would be pretty cheap for me to attend, UM became a top choice for me.
Summary of Experience:
Invited to apply for Merit Scholarship. Withdrew. I really liked Case, and had a great time during my interview day. The decision to withdraw was a difficult one to make, but I decided that, even if I had applied for and been awarded a substantial scholarship, I would still decide to attend CCLCM.
Summary of Experience:
Withdrew. I loved Vandy, and I think my interviews went really well! I loved the students and both of my interviewers. I also liked the new curriculum, and was even totally okay with being a guinea pig for the curriculum changes that will be happening over the next few years.
