Brief Profile:
Academic Late-Bloomer. When I was 18, I had a dismal (1.7gpa) stint at a community college and then went off to explore the world, traveling and working across the US, Europe, Asia and North Africa. Returned to school at 28 and did better. Worked in hospitals and restaurants to pay my way. Now I\'m applying to med school!
