Brief Profile:
I did not intend to enter med school during college, and worked for a biomedical device company in the OR for a year. My interests changed, but due to my poor GPA from undergrad (3.2), I spent the next year doing post-bacc work in some pre-med courses and got a 4.0. I was in a fraternity in undergrad (no clubs) and have a patent for a medical device I worked on with a team in college. Did a bit of volunteering during my post-bacc year.

Summary of Application Experience
I was pretty surprised at all the waitlists I was put on. I think all of the interviews went extremely well, so perhaps my low undergrad GPA held me back. After speaking with numerous doctors and advisors, I decided to attend SUNY Buffalo. I liked the school and the people, and the cost savings is simply too significant to pass up.
Summary of Experience:
Interviewer said he was \"sure\" they would accept me. My email response to confirm I wanted to stay on the waitlist included two questions, which they blatantly ignored when acknowledging my response.
