Summary of Application Experience
I submitted my application after retaking the MCAT for the third time in August. I am so happy that this application cycle has been completely different from the first. When I applied for the 2009 entering class, I applied to 2 schools and was rejected to one and eternally waitlisted to the other. After that failure, i took the past 2 years researching medical schools to see which ones would be best for me and I think I did a pretty great job compiling my medical school list.
This application process has been expensive and without the FAP award, I would not be able to afford to apply!!! I thank Jesus for who ever decided to create and fund the Fee Assistance Program!!!
Update 11/23/10 I got my first acceptance to MCG!!!! I have been connected to the school for years and am finally excited to be potentially a part of the School of Medicine Class of 2015!!!
Update 12/6/10 Today was a great day in my medical school application process!!! I received my acceptance to Morehouse School of Medicine and I received an interview invite to Mercer!!! This is so surreal!!!
