I\'m proof that you can fail a med school pre-req and still get accepted to an MSTP. (And proof that you can fail a med school pre-req and never have someone ask about it during an interview, apparently.)

Summary of Experience:
Screening for secondary; I haven\'t heard from these guys in a long time, so I\'m just going to go ahead and assume I\'m rejected. kthx! Finally logged in to check it; my official rejection date was 11/15/2010... way to not send me any information at all, UCSF!!!
Summary of Experience:
I\'m all for shooting for the stars, but I\'m not actually sure a) Why I applied here in the first place, and b) Why I filled out the secondary... I\'m c) definitely not going to get in and d) don\'t even *want* to go here. You know you\'ve applied to too many schools when...
Summary of Experience:
12/13/2010: I sent a letter to the Director of Admissions of the MSTP program, and I received a quick, personal response rather quickly. Oh well. :-/
Summary of Experience:
I called the admissions office yesterday to check on my application, and received the rejection this morning. Coincidence? I think not. ;-)
Summary of Experience:
They have this \"autobiographical essay\" that\'s really hard. 12/17/2010, received MSTP rejection today; still considered for MD-only, but I\'m not counting on it.
Summary of Experience:
Screening for secondary; Received secondary, but it also has this autobiographical section. Meeeeeep! Not hoping for much here. Rejected from MD/PhD, still considered for MD-only... yeah right.
Summary of Experience:
Frustrating secondary interface. Grrrrr. I didn\'t end up applying because they were so bitchy about residency. I lived in this state for 18 years... sigh. So much wasted money. :-/
Summary of Experience:
Screening for secondary. -- received secondary; trying to get in touch with residency office... sigh; 10/19: Got in touch with Randy Reed, may still qualify as resident!; submitted residency stuff of 10/20/10; INTERVIEW INVITE?! REALLY?!?! -- Awesome experience. Extremely supportive tight-knit community, and not in the bullshit kind of way. <3
-- Rejected. Knew this would happen. One of my interviews was a little wonky. Oh well.
Summary of Experience:
Secondary had two essays with unlimited length; MD/PhD interview invite!!!! FIRST ONE!; survived interview... dig it! -- Withdrew after UCD acceptance.
Summary of Experience:
Sent in update letter on 01/04/11. Probably too late, sadly. ... holy shit, just got an interview offer. wtf?! -- After some crazy travel madness, finally made it to interview. Was *extremely* impressed with the faculty, not so much with the students/program... but I didn\'t get to see any of it. Will have to make opinions during Second Look, if I get invited... -- Got waitlisted, and withdrew my application.
Summary of Experience:
I think I would *love* to live in Denver. Totally dig this place... had some really great conversations with scientists, the students are super nice and really outdoorsy (hikers, bikers, rock climbers, etc!), just an overall good time! woot! -- Great birthday present: Acceptance to UCD!!!!
