Summary of Experience:
Davis pretty much rejected me without even sending me an email. I think they should at least notify people about it so that no time is wasted. I know why I did not pass the primary screen -my low verbal score. But nonetheless I am not very interested in Davis, since it\'s hot as heck there. I probably can\'t study in that heat.
Summary of Experience:
I don\'t know why I submitted my primary there. Someone told me there\'s a thesis each person has to write by the time they graduate. Yale\'s prompt is why I am interested in their school. I just can\'t force myself write an essay about how I like their program with the thesis when in fact I have no interest. Plus I think the air with high IQ at NH is going to be too much for me.
Summary of Experience:
I don\'t know why their secondary is a bit too long for me. I somehow held on to it and couldn\'t finish. When I read the email again, they suggested we finish within 1 month. I figure it would be a waste of money for me to finish it then, because they will probably not interview me based on my lack of interest.
This year Boston will be getting over 11000 applications. The school website says it will trim it down to 7500 applications and select about 1000 to interview. I think it will really depend on the luck of the draw at the end.
Summary of Experience:
they actually request LOR from me. Wow, didn\'t think I\'d get this far considering so many people on SDN with way better stats than mine didn\'t even get the LOR.
Summary of Experience:
9/2 My status has not changed at all, and it just says that it\'s being reviewed and it can take up to 6-8 weeks. On the other hand I have read on SDN that many people are already \"pooled.\"
A friend of mine told me Vermont was OOS friendly, and its nickname is UC Vermont. Hahaha....
Summary of Experience:
I called them over the phone, and the admissions officer was very nice and patient. They told me they were giving out interview invites since July... and encouraged me to apply as soon as possible. But it\'s already Sept 02, and I haven\'t heard anything from them...
Summary of Experience:
I really like the school for some reasons. I think it\'s because the location of the campus being in the metropolitan city, and next to Central Park. This totally makes me sound like a yuppie. Anyway, I am really hoping they would interview me.
Summary of Experience:
I received the secondary two days after my AMCAS was verified. Since this is the only UC that invited me for a secondary, I spent much effort on the 4800 character autobiography. The application also asked for housing and parent education. I hope they will cut me some slack based on my poor upbringing. I also would really like to go to UCSD because of a connection down there.
I submitted the primary very early on and got a welcome email. But they didn\'t invite me for a secondary until about 1 month later. I didn\'t think I was going to even apply to this school. But since they invited me to submit the supplemental, I may as well. I also have some connections at Minneapolis.
Summary of Experience:
I didn\'t receive secondary invite till much later. But I submitted it after 3 weeks of receiving it. I really like their main campus, so I think their medical campus should be pretty nice also.
