Brief Profile:
Close to 3 years experience as an EMT-Basic, continuing on to become an EMT-IV tech Fall 2004. Very active in hometown volunteer EMS, including doing community outreach, recruiting, fundraisers, and website design. Also work for a private service part time. Tutor at campus writing center, was a Biology TA in charge of lab sessions. For fun, I'm an improvisational comedian at a club in Green Bay and I'm also a photographer. I started off as an art major for about a year and a half or so, and decided I was more interested in medicine. I like grilled cheese sandwiches.

Summary of Application Experience
7-26-04 So far I've just submitted my AMCAS; I'll start working on my secondaries if/when they come.
9-23-04 I finished my last secondary (Maryland). I'm waiting to hear back from schools. MSU has put me 'on hold' for future review if they choose to do so. UW-Madison interviews all Wisconsin residents, supposedly, so I'm guaranteed a shot there.
Right now my top choices are Medical College of Wisconsin, Tulane, and UW, but at this point I don't think I should be too choosy.
It feels good just to be done with the applications. At least everything is out of my hands for awhile.
12-11-04 I just got accepted to MCW!! That's where I'm going to go. Being associated with the best trauma center in the state, I think that's where I need to be. Rock on!!!
