Summary of Application Experience
6/1/2010: AACOMAS submitted. 6/5/2010: AACOMAS verified. 6/6/2010: Submitting application on 6/22 after new MCAT scores... hoping that physical sciences score will go up. 6/22/2010: Awesome! New scores are in. Too bad they\'re IDENTICAL TO LAST YEAR\'S. This is a bit frustrating as I paid good money for a private Physical Sciences experience. I\'m still applying anyway (can\'t hurt - I\'ve changed in a year), but I don\'t have my hopes up. 8/18/2010: Submitted FSU, UCF, Nova secondaries 8/28/2010: Submitted FIU secondaries. This will be all the secondaries I do for a week or two. Been soo busy studying for my exams that I haven\'t been able to crank out many. I hope applying early helps! 8/31/2010: Invited for interview at Nova Southeastern - top and only DO school. 12/7/2010: Attended Nova. I was kind of meh about the interview to be honest - it\'s my home state and it would be nice to go to school here but I wasn\'t against or for the school. 12/15/2010: Accepted to Nova! Nice to know I\'m at least going to medical school next year! 12/25/2010: Grades for Drexel IMS are out.... Medicine and Society A-, Microanatomy A-, Biochemistry B-, Physiology B-. It means I\'m basically an average medical school student! Sweet! I\'m happy about the grades because I did poorly on the first exams and managed to make up for it on the final few exams. Hopefully it makes a difference to my applications! 1/6/2011: Western-COMP application complete. I need to forward my first semester grades to my MD schools... 1/21/2011: Actually NOW my Western-COMP application is complete after an error with my MCAT scores. I\'ve been freaking out over my secondary answers too, I really don\'t feel like there is a difference in MD vs DO and I applied to schools where I thought I\'d be getting the best well-rounded education which is a summation of school characteristics and location. Forwarded all my grades to MD schools but haven\'t heard any bites, except for FIU where I was rejected. HOORAY! 2/1/2011: Waiting for that FAU school to open its applications........... 3/1/2011: Submitted my FAU application. Fingers Crossed.
