    Summary of Application Experience

Pretty much wanted to go to school in California or New York because I love those two states. I was worried about my low GPA (especially 2 C\'s in science classes!!!) but it turned out med schools are interested in more than just GPA (shock!). Also, I think my high biology mcat score helped out when ad coms looked at those 2 C\'s in bio courses.

I did 3 years of evolutionary research (not clinical, no papers or publications), volunteered at a homeless shelter for 2 years, volunteered at Oakland Children\'s Hospital for 2 years, and was an undergraduate student instructor for a year.

Feel free to ask me any questions! I am here to help :)
