I applied to medical school late out of the Early Medical Acceptance Program at my school. I found the schools that decided to interview me seemed somewhat random -- Harvard did but Emory did not. I had two years of research experience, one year of volunteering, and only one semester of shadowing post high school, but significantly more shadowing and volunteering at the end of my high school career.
Summary of Experience:
This school is amazing. It has its rank for a reason. Who DOESN\'T want to rub shoulders with Gawande and listen to lectures from Paul Farmer? Awesome.
Summary of Experience:
I loved this school. The atmosphere and the students really sold me during my interview. Given a sizable scholarship I will almost certainly accept this offer.
