Summary of Application Experience
The hardest part about this cycle was taking the MCAT in April (while studying for Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, working part time, and doing research), getting a horrible score, and having to retake in July. My first attempt I got a 25M. My second try in July i got a 31M(12BS, 9PS, 10VR). Writing score is terrible but I\'m not going to retake for just a writing score. So I wasn\'t able to be complete at most schools until early September. My suggestion: take the MCAT seriously. Try to take a couple months off, and study JUST FOR THE MCAT. I\'m hoping to still be competitive even tho I\'m a little late in the cycle. Watching your friends get acceptances, and you get none is probably the worst feeling in the world.
Summary of Experience:
MMI format. Interview was awesome. A really cool, innovative, progressive school that I think will be a big name in the near future. Top choice.
Summary of Experience:
Really awesome school. Just a 30 minute train ride from Manhattan. Valhalla is beautiful and the perfect environment for a medical student. But at the same time, only 30 minutes from the coolest city on Earth
