Summary of Experience:
Not surprised by the outcome - so many great applicants! But not bummed at all, it\'s not the school for. Great opportunities, but students don\'t seem to have the same quality of life as elsewhere. Tour guide kept complaining about how the school was cheap and was difficult to find funding for things outside the norm.
Summary of Experience:
Beautiful area, I would love it if I wanted to be somewhere less urban. Also, didn\'t want to be in a class with only 20 or so other people out of state.
Summary of Experience:
I liked the city much more than I thought. Large hospital system, very cool SimLab. But wouldn\'t go there off the waitlist over Penn or Michigan.
Summary of Experience:
Great school, friendly students who are very enthusiastic about their \"happiest students\" status. However, it wasn\'t the place for me.
Summary of Experience:
Awesome area of Chicago. Beautiful hospitals. Not too keen on the heavy emphasis on PBL and the lengthy distance to the undergrad campus.
Summary of Experience:
2nd best interview day after Michigan. Great students. Liked Philly a lot more than I thought I would. 1.5 pre-clinical years definitely a plus, as well as proximity to NYC, DC, and Boston. Great scholarship and financial aid package. Done deal. Penn Med 2014!
Summary of Experience:
Fantastic interview day! Interesting, social, and happy students. I like the systems-based curriculum and the flex-time quizzes. Unfortunately, financial aid did not come through for me, and it was a deal-breaker.
