Summary of Application Experience

I took the MCAT in late August and my scores were unavailable until late September. This made my application completion dates kina late because all of the school had to wait until receipt of my MCAT scores to review my file and make any interview decisions.

Also, looking back, I now realize that I applied to too many reach schools and too many back-up schools and not enough solid, middle-of-the-road schools. My GPA wasn\'t good enough for the reach schools (I\'m guessing), and I am now left with very few schools that I would be truly happy going to. Now I\'m left hoping that I get into one or more of the very limited selection of middle-of-the-road schools that I chose. I didn\'t go into this cycle fully prepared. I wish I could do it over again. But, on the other hand. I at least have 1 decent acceptance and will therefore be going to med school this coming year. I really got lucky. Here\'s hoping for more luck!
