Summary of Application Experience
I filled out most of my secondary apps from July to September. Though I did fill out a few more secondaries throughout October and November. Lesson to be learned: All of my interview offers were made by schools that I submitted secondaries to in July/August (IOW apply early). I withdrew from so many schools after getting accepted at the University of Miami in November. Plus, in-state tuition and living at home would save me a lot of money; not to mention my family, friends, and my girlfriend of four years is here in Miami as well. Right now I\'m just waiting to see what happens with my wait list spots, but I am very happy with my UM acceptance. I\'m officially going to Univ. of Miami!!!
Summary of Experience:
applied in July and finally got the rejection letter via snail mail in the end of April. I was beginning to think they simply lost my app. since there was almost no communication this entire cycle. I\'m surprised it took them this long to reject me.

I got an interview invite (mid-January) and I sent in my secondary in mid-July! I was beginning to lose hope so I was psyched!
DMS was awesome!!! I really like the global opportunities and the options for clerkships around the country. I really liked Hanover; it\'s very picturesque and allows for outdoor activities.

I really loved this school, but being put on the waitlist was to be expected (It seems like almost everyone is getting waitlisted this cycle).

This school is top notch, and I am a little disappointed from being waitlisted but what can you do...hopefully I\'ll hear back later on (staying optimistic)...I hear the waitlist movement here is very minimal : (
Now it\'s the end of June, 2010 and the school announced that very few acceptances from the wait list, if any at all, will be made. Basically, no wait list movement is expected here. So I\'m basically giving up on this one.
Summary of Experience:
Greatly exceeded my expectations; looks like it\'s getting to be a really promising school, but since it\'s new, residency match is still unknown for this school. Also, funding for the new incoming class is still uncertain. I\'d rather stay in Miami.

This is my favorite IS school and is one of my top choices! I got into both campuses but I\'ve chosen the Miami campus because it\'s closer to home and I\'d like to work with the underserved population (Not that this matters anymore because the UM@FAU program is going to be discontinued now).
