Summary of Application Experience
AMCAS submitted mid July, verified mid Aug. App complete at most schools during September (earliest late August), a few in October I feel that I submitted my secondaries late relative to the time I received them (on average one month after receiving them). Some much later because of school starting and being preoccupied with research. Might have been better if I submitted my AMCAS earlier, but that would mean I can\\\\\\\'t include my volunteering and shadowing activities over the summer
MCAT experience: Took MCAT in late May. Took a prep course with Kaplan, but didn\\\\\\\'t keep up with the studying. Going to the lectures still helped though. Started really studying two weeks before the exam. Kaplan\\\\\\\'s review notes really helped me. I pretty much read all four books in about 4 days. Spent the other days taking AAMC practice tests. I took a Kaplan practice test earlier during the year, didn\\\\\\\'t find it too helpful because they test you on what they teach you...not very reflective of the real MCAT. I followed the Kaplan method for the writing section (I didn\\\\\\\'t follow their whole passage mapping mantra for the other sections), I even sent in my writing samples for them to grade and they gave me near perfect scores. As you can see my writing score is not very good.
I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED OFF THE WAITLIST TO MY TOP CHOICE!

Summary of Experience:
Apparently I didn\'t submit my secondary early enough. It looks like most of the people they invite to interview have September or earlier complete dates.
Summary of Experience:
I think it\'s because I didn\'t do well in the student interview. I liked the school a lot and was really sad to get rejected here
