Summary of Experience:
I didn't finish this app. Not because Yale isn't awesome, but I mainly can't see my family living in New Haven, CT for four years. Oh well...
Summary of Experience:
Rejected pre-interview! Kinda sad because this was my only DC school. I had heard good things about the school and am a bit disappointed.
Summary of Experience:
Technically, I haven\'t been rejected here yet. But, they sent me a paper saying, \"You\'re not invited for an interview now, but we\'ll skim your app now and again and think about it.\" So, I\'m putting it down as a reject because I think my chances there are pretty slim now...
Summary of Experience:
Interview went pretty well and Pitt is still my top choice. The simulation labs are pretty awesome, though I won\\\'t use it until 3rd and 4th year much. A great school with happy students overall.
Waitlisted! Bah...
Woah! Accepted off the waitlist in the first wave!
Summary of Experience:
Really enjoyed the interview. Low stress and I got tons of new and exciting information about the school. Next year\'s class is gonna be lucky because they get a brand new building and a brand new curriculum. Really exciting. Definitely cemented the school as one of my top 2.
Summary of Experience:
Their essays were brutal. Five of them, all pretty hard.
My interviews went pretty well overall. Some smiles and laughs from the faculty interview. My student interviewer had a very flat affect. I think I got a half smile from her once. Otherwise she sat silently during most of my answers.
Overall, left feeling so-so about the school. I\'d obviously be happy if I got in, and they have some generous financial aid, but didn\'t like the school as much as UVA or Pitt.
03/09: Accepted! So, we\'ll see how financial aid pans out.
04/10: $44.5K tuition with $20K need-based aid = 24.5K tuition + everything else
