    Summary of Application Experience

This had been a very upsetting cycle. I thought I would have a better response from schools with ECs, GPA, and MCAT. Having only 2 interviews was very humbling. I\\\\\\\'m taking the \\\\\\\"hope for the best and prepare for the worst\\\\\\\" mentality. I\\\\\\\'m getting ready to apply for the next cycle and will include some DO schools this time.

SLU or bust right now. This has been a very disappointing cycle but I refuse to give up. I will call around to see what is lacking in my app and start working on it. I will also be sure to include DO schools next cycle.

Accepted at SLU!!! I will definitely be attending here! I have some thoughts in the back of my head wondering if I should wait and reapply to UWSMPH and MCW so I can be closer to home, but I don\'t think I can pass up an acceptance at SLU, they have good USMLE scores and good match rates.

    Overall Costs
~$2,500 Primary and secondary apps (I sent out around 23 primaries and then only 9 secondaries = big waste of money)
    ~200 Interview Costs
I managed to get a lot of free MCAT study material which would\'ve cost ~$2,000
