Activities in brief: - chemistry research (2 yrs) - summer internship at research hospital - physics study group leader - Red Cross volunteer, with leadership - hospice volunteer, with leadership - rehabilitation center volunteer, with leadership - autism research related work-study - some shadowing - various non-clinical volunteering - various honors/awards - ECs related to hobby (drawing/painting classes; cartooning for school paper; etc.) - non-clinical job (waitressing)
Rec letters: - science letter 1: chem research PI (also took an adv inorganic chem class with him) - science letter 2: chem professor (probably my weakest of the four letters; department chair) - non-science letter 1: womens studies professor (taught two of the classes for my minor; affiliated with the UMMS ob/gyn department; specifically wrote about my minor and my understanding of the health care system, health care disparities, etc.) - non-science letter 2: summer research PI (several of my interviewers told me that this letter was very strong)
