Summary of Application Experience
Woohoo...got in! This is a rough process. Put your best foot forward, have faith and apply early. Study really hard for the MCAT. I was shocked, I'm usually an excellent test taker, so my scores really took me by surprise...they weren't at all where I wanted them to be. Take full exams emulating test conditions every week so you build up your stamina. Go over questions, re-do them etc. As for the interview, be yourself. Relax. They usually just want to get to know you- how you think, why you want to be a doc. Oh, and write a killer AMCAS essay and get at least a couple outstanding recs (these were my saving graces). Good luck!
