Summary of Application Experience
I feel very lucky for the opportunities I've been given and encourage everyone to apply early, broadly, and follow-up by updating your schools, telling them how interested you are, why you will make a good asset to their program. Be sincere, be pushy, be patient. Good things happen to those who work hard and stay humble. I didn't get off my first waitlist until June 09 and then the next day I got in at my top choice, USC! I did call and email the directors of admissions and stayed in contact during the whole cycle. Don't give up!
