Summary of Application Experience
Got off to a late start, not a good idea. Most of my interviews came late in the game. The early Michigan acceptance took a lot of the stress off. UM is a wonderful school, but I was really pulling for Columbia because NY is awesome, I am interested in urban medicine and because of love! The wait-list process was killer! It is vital to let the schools know how much you want it. I wrote LOIs, sent more recommendations and called like a stalka. I almost can't believe it worked out so perfectly in the end. I am so happy and thankful that I got my first choice!
