Summary of Application Experience
initally sent my primary application to tons of schools but became slightly overwhelmed with the number and lengths of secondaries; Was a long application process; Be prepared for waiting, waiting, and more waiting. Started to loose hope after rejections letters kept coming, but was blessed with the opportunity of ONE school giving me a chance! First interview and first and only acceptance. Although I had a low MCAT, I still felt as though my application was competitive in other areas ( extra curriculars, pers. statement), so one school was able to look beyond my MCAT scores. I was told I wouldn't get into any MD program, and I have proven the man ( a DR and student adviser) wrong! Don't loose hope, if this is what you want, nothing will stop you (not even a low MCAT or low GPA)
