I am an international student from Pakistan and most of the institutions I applied to, like Albany Medical School, did not accept international students, were highly competitive, or had strange financial requirements that discouraged international students from enrolling due to funding issues and the fact that many had to pay 4 years of their fee before they started the college and were offered an acceptance letter. I am including these institutions in the list as well so don't be scared if you see rejections in front of them.
