Summary of Application Experience
Log:
4/18/09 - Took the MCAT! Now to wait a month for the scores!
5/19/09 - Got my MCAT scores! Great PS and BS (and writing!), but a little disappointed with my verbal performance.
6/8/09 - Submitted AMCAS primary! Still need to finish TMDSAS.
6/12/09 - Submitted TMDSAS primary! They\'re still waiting on one transcript and the LORs.
6/13/09 - Submitted the UTSW secondary! :D
6/16/09- AMCAS primary processed. Sending LOR request today.
6/29/09 - still waiting for Yale to send my LORs. I\'d wish they\'d hurry. I finished all the UTs and Columbia secondaries... working on Baylor and Michigan right now.
7/2/09 - Sent in the Michigan and Baylor secondaries. Received a secondary from U of Chicago... I can tell this one is going to be arduous... definitely worth it though, as I absolutely love that school.
7/6/09 - LORs received by TMDSAS and AMCAS. Now I have no excuse to put off my currently pending secondaries!
7/7/09 - Baylor and Michigan are registered as complete apps! I am assuming the UTs are too as TMDSAS has received everything and it says \'submitted to schools\'.
7/10/09 - Got my first interview invite. UT Houston - 24 July.
11/13/09 - I\'ve been bad about updating. Got my first set of acceptances today! (All the UT schools I applied to). I\'m very excited about this. They all impressed me, but I\'m particularly excited about UTSW.
3/23/10 - Still waiting to hear back from Baylor, but I\'ve set my sights on UTSW and I\'m not looking back! I loved both BCM and UTSW (and UPenn!), but I think UTSW slightly beats them out. UPenn was great, but way too expensive (especially considering how great a deal UTSW and BCM are). I\'m from Dallas, and I have a ton of friends and family there, which is also a major plus.
