Summary of Application Experience

4/1/09: This whole process is really taxing. All of the schools are on different schedules and require different materials. I wish that there was some uniformity between the schools. I am studying to retake the MCAT because obviously my score is holding me back. Next year is my last year to apply. I am not going through this for 3 years in a row. I would rather go to another type of program than apply a 3rd year. Life is too short to apply more than 2 years.

8/5/09: Retook the MCAT and brought my 21 up to a 27. I applied early decision the Mercer. I feel pretty confident since last year I was told that my MCAT score was the only thing that kept me from getting accepted.

8/18/09: Got a call today to confirm my interview for the EDP at Mercer on August 27th.

10/01/09: Got my acceptance call today! I am glad I applied EDP so I don\'t have to worry about it now.
