Advice for a low gpa:
- understand why you have it, then frame it as a learning experience, not an excuse
- upward trends help; senior year poor grades are harder to \"learn\" from than freshman year
- make sure EVERYTHING else about your application is as strong as possible, really go the extra mile with your ECs, etc. Study really, really hard for the MCAT. Take several practice tests.
- don\'t neglect DO schools (but just realize how much more expensive most are)
