Brief Profile:
It was never my intention to go to medical school and my grades show it! I studied as an engineer with an emphasis in business and was one of the founding employees at a tech startup where I worked for 3 years. During college and while working I volunteered extensively with a US based group that runs a clinic in Mexico as an engineer and pilot. These experiences changed my life and I decided to pursue medicine because of my interactions with the doctors. My volunteering was extensive and clearly not designed to pad my resume - it has been my passion for years and I made sure that came through on my application.
