    Summary of Application Experience

The application process can be somewhat grueling so start early. For example, I had to write 5 essays in addition to the personal statement. In retrospect, I may have underestimated the competiveness of my application, so I would recommend applying to a variety of schools - although it gets expensive. I was a reapplicant, so I was just happy to finally get in. My previous VR score was weak. Also, be ready for a nasty interviewer. My first interview was awful, but I still got in. I think some schools just want to see how you respond to insolence. Good luck!
