Summary of Application Experience

Long, long, and did I mention long? I averaged about one interview per month, but after I got my first CA acceptance I was afforded some leeway and started withdrawing from scheduled out-of-state interviews.

Overall, I'm just glad I ended up with so many interviews and a couple of acceptances since my VR sucked so badly. I was fully intending on retaking MCAT and applying again next year before I got a wave of interview invites.

The best advice I can give is to be patient with it. If you are a solid applicant (although you may have a crappy MCAT), you should get interviews from at least a couple of schools.

In addition, you should save at least 5-10K if you're going to apply as broadly as I did.
