Summary of Application Experience
As a california applicant I was told to apply to a lot of schools. Its an expensive process and in retrospect I think I applied to too many schools. I ended up cancelling many of my interviews. I should have chosen the schools I applied to more carefully. Having said that, I have to admit that the whole process is unpredictable. I got accepted at places that I never thought would want me (i.e. Stanford) and got rejected from others that I thought I was competitive for (i.e UC Irvine). Don't panic it all works out in the end.
