Summary of Application Experience
My experience applying was ok. I applied pretty early, turning in my AMCAS in June and finishing most of my secondaries before the end of the summer (much better if you're still in school when you apply). My first interview was in early September and my last interview was the first week of March (so pretty long), although most were in October and November. I got accepted to UMich in mid-October, so I withdrew from about 7 schools, which saved time and money. I received interviews at 8 of the 11 schools that I had filled out secondaries for (no interviews at Penn, Harvard, or Stanford) and ended up getting accepted at 2 and waitlisted at the other 6.
