Summary of Application Experience
Apply Early! I made the mistake of taking the August MCAT and most schools I talked to had already picked their main applicant pool by the time I had received my MCAT scores and sent in my secondaries. Also, be of an ethnic origin :). I was told by at least three schools that they had very few positions open in their class and they were 'looking to add diversity'. I was also told by 2 schools that I did not apply to that I would not be accepted because my age signalled that I did not have enough 'life experience'. Plan ahead in case you do not get in and don't give up hope :).
