Summary of Application Experience
Got my apps in about August and waited for the letters to come in. It's a long and tedious, expensive process but I guess it's another way to filter people out. Be honest and individual about yourself and why you're interested in medicine. I've been on both sides of the interview table and interviews crave the things that make you special and different from others. And no, EMT and Physician's shadowing experiences don't make you different(as told by and interviewer). I was set apart because I was extensively involved in the 2002 Oly. Games. Stay positive and persistent.
