Be positive! If you're waitlisted at a place that you really want to go to, don't hesitate to write them a mature and tasteful letter detailing why you want to go there. Just don't repeat anything you already said in your apps. Also, if you're like me and screwed around in college instead of doing 8,000,000 extracurricular activities, just make sure that you're doing something productive during your application year so that you have something tangible to add in your correspondance with schools. Basically, if you want it, you'll do anything you can to get it. Be smart. Good luck!
