-full ride undergrad scholarship -Honors College, requiring Honors GE courses -major in chem and minor in art -volunteered for 1 year at children's hospital -various other activities with children/medicine -EMT courses and got certified -live in care taker for 3 months for a terminally ill 8 year old girl in a vegatative state -research for a program in the emergency room at a hospital for 1 year -my own research on glucose metabolism in fish in a biology lab for over 2 and a half years -presented at conferences and am working on publishing at least 2 manuscripts -worked 20-40 hours a week tutoring during undergrad -leadership activities included clubs and President of the Chemistry club for 1 year, and Kids Zone Coordinator for Vintage days (a huge community based fair put on by my college purely on volunteers and donations) for 1 year -I have also shadowed a few doctors

Summary of Application Experience
This is my second year applying and I've taken the MCAT 3 times and haven't done well on any of them, after the first time I just stressed myself out and couldn't concentrate on anything. (My last MCAT score was 9PS, 8VS, 8BS P). I feel like I have enough extracurricular activities to get me in but my MCAT score is holding me back. Really hope I get in.. I don't think it's good to take the MCAT more than 3 times..? And this process is getting expensive!
Process:
AMCAS was certified on 8/4 and AACOMAS was certified on 8/27.
10/15 - all secondaries were out by mid Oct. They were sent out as completed between 8/5 and 10/15
10/21 - first interview invite at TOURO CA in vallejo by mail. Close to home, possibly only chance of staying in CA. We'll see how it goes!
