    Summary of Application Experience

I certainly have a very rough undergraduate GPA. I graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and an overall GPA of 2.45. After completing 2 years of post-bac work with all upper level biology and chemistry (~50hours at a 4.0) I have a 2.99 (will be 3.02 by the end of the fall semester '08) and a 3.08 BCPM. I hope the good grades during my post-bac time and my MCAT score will help me alleviate the poor grades during my undergraduate time. I also feel that I have had very good clinical experience working in EMS.

I feel that it is most likely a bit late in the game to apply to many private schools. I would welcome any thoughts on this issue or overall comments.

    Best of luck to everyone!

I was accepted at UAMS on January 21, 2009. The wait is finally over and I could not be more thrilled. I am so happy that Arkansas was willing to look past the difficulties of my early college days and see all the work I've done in the past 4 years. I wish everyone else out there the best of luck. You can do it.
