I'm in the process of waiting now.
I applied for 2008 classes, and was either wait-listed or flat out rejected. at the time I was OOS going on 3 years with a class here an there to try and improve my GPA. (BTW: working full time, sometimes between 40 and 50 hours a week, and trying to take classes like Biochem is not smart!)
Sooo... I retook the MCAT (score went from 21/O to 25/O) and applied to graduate school. Enrolled in program I saw on AMCAS website (purpose of programs are to increase your competitiveness ,GPA wise, in Med school applications.) Since I just started the program and grades won't be back until end of semester, I'll see if better MCAT scores and prospect of good grades in Grad school will get me a little further.
