Update post-app cycle:
This was one tough year. Primary app, seconday app, waiting anxiously, interviewing, waiting anxiously again. Then decisions, decisions, decisions. But it was all worth it and it all worked out in the end.
Some of the schools didn't send rejection letters but I assumed it since I wasn't invited to interview
